Developing a compact unit for production of pure water for medical purposes.

  • Designed membrane distillation module and analyzed the internal water flow using Ansys fluent.

  • Developed mathematical model for heat and mass transfer across the membrane using Excel.

  • presented our project idea and results in (Engineering Water Day 2022) and (3rd Graduation Projects Exhibition) both events held in the university. 

  • Achieved financial fund (35,000 L.E) from scientific research academy (Cairo) April 2022.

  • Participated in ISEIC (international science and engineering innovations competition) in air defense college (Alexandria) Mar 2022.

Formula Student Racing Car

Aerodynamicist and CFD Engineer in Student Activity

  • Participated in the design of a racing car to participate in formula student (FSUK) in the 2021 and 2022 seasons (concept class).

  • Analyzed using Ansys fluent the aerodynamic package of the formula student racing car.

  • Specialized in designing and optimization of the underbody and diffuser of the aerodynamic package.

  •  Prepared a wind tunnel test documentation to study the validation of the CFD results.

Aerodynamicist and CFD Engineer in Student Activity

  • Participated in designing and manufacturing of a one-seat electric car for EVER Rally in Egypt at (Ghibli Raceway, Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai) in the 2022 season.

  • Participated in all the stages of developing the shape of the body from designing stage, manufacturing processes, installation, testing  and finally the painting and putting the stickers.

  • Designed the HVAC system of tower and hospital based on the codes and the standards.  

  • Selected the required equipment from the market catalogues.

  • Used AutoCAD for 2D drafting, HAP for HVAC calculations, Duct sizer, and Revit for 3D modeling .

Mechanical Designer

  • Designed prototype for using the properties of piezo material to harvest energy from footsteps.

  • The prototype used as a weight indicator that displays different light colour for certain weight range 

  • Simulated the behavior of the piezo material under load.

  • Determined the safe weight limit for using the device using FEA simulation.
